COVID-19 ARRANGEMENTS

We are changing the way we operate for the benefit of our customers and staff. Please be assured that your health and safety is our priority. We are limiting accommodation bookings and restaurant capacity to ensure we can continue to offer our usual level of service and hospitality.

We have followed Scottish Government and industry guidelines, have a risk assessment in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing. We have therefore been certified “Good To Go” by VisitScotland.

We will send you information relevant to your booking to help you plan your trip. The Scottish Government has issued additional guidance for visitors here. For visitors from overseas we recommend checking international travel advice here. If you need any more information before or during your stay then please phone or email us.

CLEANING

Additional cleaning procedures have been added to our already strict hygiene policy. All public and communal areas are cleaned at regular intervals throughout the day including door handles, light switches and hard surfaces.

We have removed cushions and throws from our bedrooms and we are steam cleaning curtains and dining room chair cushions on a daily basis. Our linen is laundered to BS EN 14065 & HTM 01-04 ensuring it is hygienically clean in line with NHS infection control measures.

In order to protect our guests and staff we will not be servicing rooms during your stay. Linen will be changed for stays of 4 days or more. Tea, coffee, milk, and bathroom amenities will be replenished on request.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

We would ask all guests to respect others at all times and observe safe distancing whenever possible. We have staggered dinner and breakfast service to avoid queues. If you arrive at the same time as another party, please be patient and observe the 2 metre rule.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

On arrival please use the hand sanitiser provided. Check-in is a contactless procedure and we can offer a contactless check-out. Please confirm the method of payment you would like to use.

DINNER

The Limetree Restaurant is open for dinner Tuesday to Saturday. Booking in advance is essential. In order to comply with social distancing regulations we have reduced the number of tables in the dining room. We have converted the guest lounge into an additional dining area so you might be allocated a table in either room.

BREAKFAST

Breakfast service will be staggered to ensure that we can comply with social distancing requirements. We will ask you to pre-order breakfast on arrival and book a time slot to assist with this.

GUEST LOUNGE

We are using the guest lounge as an additional dining space for breakfast and dinner. We regret that this means the lounge is not available for normal use.

TEST & PROTECT

Due to Scotland’s Test & Protect scheme, anyone who has come into contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case has to immediately self-isolate, it may be necessary to close the property. We will give as much notice as possible if this occurs.

It is essential that guests only travel if they are symptom free. We will be flexible with our cancellation policy should you need to cancel at short notice.

Please get in touch if you have any questions. We look forward to welcoming you to Hartfell House.
